Attention: Recall Notices

A contaminated product will affect your and your baby’s health. Though we usually trust a product is okay to consume, we have to pay attention. We also have to advocate for reliable quality safeguards.

If your family, or one you know, has been affected by the recent recall of formulas

encourage them to share their story with the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) and  the International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN). They will present the details of how contamination impacts real families at the World Health Assembly. Here is the link to share their story.

This is time-sensitive as the Assembly meets in May.
Let families know about these recalls.

Formula companies especially need to be held accountable

for the quality of their products, as they provide food for infants and developing babies. Here again is the link‍ ‍for families to share their story about formula contamination.

On another note, there were recalls that concerned the herb Moringa.

One brand, Rosabella Organic Moringa was recalled in February 2026.

Another company, Vallon Farm Direct PVT LTD of Johdpur, India has a Moringa product and one called Supergreens. They were recalled in October 2025.

Though the Vallon Farm Direct case is now closed you should check the batch numbers and dates. Check those on the Rosabella Organic recall notice, to be safe. Throw out any that correspond with the recall notices.

For herbs, it’s wise to review safety information on the label and company website.Still, we need to pay attention. Contamination at the source, that is… the manufacturing plant for formula, the farm for plants, are unknown to the consumer.

That’s why we need to advocate for accountability, safety measures, and quality control.

Products that infants, babies, (really, any person) will consume should be trustworthy. Please share this recall information with families you know.

For general product recalls, there is also the Consumer Product Safety Commission
