MSBC Events

We host events to support Maine’s new families in their journey through pregnancy, birth, and the first year+ of parenthood. We also host events to support and connect the various professionals in Maine who support families along that journey. Together, we are a community. Together we help one another reach parenting and infant feeding goals.

“Connecting the Dots” Coalition Meetings

The Maine State Breastfeeding Coalition hosts virtual networking meetings on the first Thursday of every odd month. We gather together and “Connect the Dots” by sharing information about local, state and national work related to breast/chestfeeding.

Educational Webinars

The first Thursday of every even month we present an educational webinar focused on infant parenting or a feeding topic.

Patchwork of Parenthood

The annual Patchwork of Parenthood event celebrates and honors the diverse stories and experiences that make up the journey of parenthood. Join us for an evening of sharing that demonstrates the resiliency, wisdom, and tenacity that can be found in the histories of all parents.

MSBC Annual Conference

Held each fall, the Maine State Breastfeeding Coalition Annual Conference is a one-day interdisciplinary event held in Augusta, Maine featuring hands-on sessions, statewide expert access, and networking.

World Breastfeeding Week & National Breastfeeding Month

Every year from August 1st - 7th, World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated, and National Breastfeeding Month is celebrated every full month of August. Each year, MSBC creates, shares, and uplifts content in celebration of these awareness events.
