2026 Storytellers

Katie Fletcher

Katie is a 39 year old social worker and mother to two boys. The first is nearly 8 and the other is only 6 weeks old. Each baby has his own unique nursing journey. Katie is excited to share the profound impact that breastfeeding has had on her life.

Marissa Valente Pacheco & Ally Dionne

Marissa is a mom of two energetic boys and a partner of more than ten years. She has spent the last four years juggling family life and a full time career, finding joy in the beautiful chaos. By day, she is a data scientist, blending curiosity, logic, and love of problem-solving. By night, she's a storyteller of scraped knees, bedtime negotiations, and the quiet, meaningful moments that make raising humans worth every bit of the work. She's passionate about motherhood, committed to her career, and constantly writing her own story at the intersection of both.

Ally always thought that ages 28 to 32 seemed like the optimal era for her to become a Mother. An anthropologist turned early childhood educator, Ally thrived when lending structure to the fast paced preschool environment. A lover of nature and most things wild Ally learned the path to parenthood is not always as straightforward as it may appear.

Reyleigh McKay

Reyleigh is a mom to three kids 4 and under and owner of ONVI & Co. Social. She loves books, crafting, and a good pun. With three children, she has had a wide range of infant feeding experiences and wants to share how those experiences shaped her parenthood and personhood.

Laura Robinson

Laura Robinson is a mom of three, organic farmer, public health practitioner, health coach, and cofounder of Fable Farmstead in Freeport. She is currently on a meaningful journey of discovering and learning about her Indigenous Taiwanese heritage, a process that is deepening her understanding of identity, ancestry, and connection to land and community. Her professional and personal work is rooted in a passion for creating positive health outcomes by ensuring access to healthful foods within a strong, resilient food system. Through farming, public health, and family life, she is dedicated to cultivating well-being for both people and place.

Megan Bullock

With a background in Environmental Science and Women and Gender Studies, Megan returned to her home state of Maine to become a nurse. She has spent the past twenty years of her career dedicated to the care of women and children across a variety of settings, from L&D to NICU to schools. She and her husband Seth share a love of delicious food, travel and everything outdoors. They thoroughly enjoy exploring Maine and beyond with their two sons, Finley and Alden. In her precious free time, she bakes and reads and surrounds herself with loved ones.

April Tardiff

April is a mother, advocate, and Maine State Parent Ambassador. Her breastfeeding journey was not as simple as she thought it would be. April faced challenges that pushed her to learn, ask for help, and navigate systems that didn’t always feel supportive or clear. That experience shaped how she shows up—not just for her child, but for other families who deserve better support in those early moments.
