Speaker
Dr. Freund’s background is in Family Medicine but she found her true passion in the second phase of her career, when difficulties breastfeeding her third child introduced her to the field of Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine. Since 2024, she has been a moderator for “Dr. Milk” (an international Facebook community supporting physicians
with breastfeeding challenges) and is currently pursuing her IBCLC and board-certification in Breastfeeding Medicine. Dr. Freund loves teaching, especially about that fascinating but neglected organ – the breast!
